Manual Blinds Offering – Cord Control
You can add blinds within your double glazed units from our Italian manufacturer to further enhance your bi-folding doors and windows.
Your double glazed units can come with a range of different coloured slats with cord control and are very cost effective up to 2m2.
Please allow at least 2 to 3 extra weeks lead time if you require blinds.
Technical
Glass
Internal glass cavity must be 20mm.
4mm glass can only be used up to a maximum of 2.5m2 or less than 1300mm in both width and height.
Minimum and Maximum Dimensions
Normal operation – up, down and tilt
Width 300mm to 2000mm
Height 300mm to 2350mm
With width from 300 to 350mm, maximum height is 850mm
With width from 351 to 400mm, maximum height is 1550mm
With width from 401 to 450mm, maximum height is 1950mm
With width from 451 to 2000mm, maximum height is 2350mm
Limited operation i.e. tilt-only outside above dimensions. Please do check as these are based on final glass size dimensions (not door/window widths and heights).

Some sizes and operations carry a limited warranty due to size or commercial use.
Making it safe
Window blind cords and chains can pose a risk for babies, children and vulnerable people who could injure or even strangle themselves on the hanging looped cords. This potential problem is eliminated by the use of integral blinds, as the blind is inside the double glazed unit, so effectively away from any misuse or danger. In our corded systems we use an external continuous cord loop that is held permanently against the glass, eliminating any chance of the cord hanging in a loose loop which could be equally dangerous.
Conforming to EN13120, safety is of paramount importance when considering Blind Control options. When installed in accordance with the supplied manufacturers’ instructions. The bottom cord tensioner and the unique Patented automatic release system of the control mechanism eliminate any risk to vulnerable groups.
The British Blind and Shutter Association recommend that you Do Not place your child’s cot, bed or playpen near to a window blind and that cords are never left to hang loosely against the window.
